Dave is also a qualified Bible study author, small group consultant, and speaker on discipleship, and spiritual formation, . He has trained and consulted in Oklahoma, Oregon, Maryland, Texas, California, Washington, Kansas, and in 16 countries throughout Africa.

He has coached 6800 pastors in spiritual formation and leading corporate spirituality on two continents.
His specialty is assisting churches with Bible studies to extend their small group ministry into members' homes with CareRing small group Bible studies.
